Who Verpex fits, and who should skip it

My take as a developer
What I look at in any host is recovery, renewal cost and exit. Verpex does well on the first: daily off-site backups and free migrations are included, not sold as add-ons. On renewal cost, the published renewal prices ($6, $10 and $15 a month) are moderate for cPanel hosting, and the calculator above shows the real total. On exit, cPanel is the industry-standard panel, so moving away later is a well-trodden path.
The trade-off is the hosting model. Shared cPanel hosting is great for PHP and WordPress. It's the wrong tool for apps built with modern JavaScript frameworks and CI pipelines, which is most of what I build for clients.
